Less than a month after talented guard, and big personality Geno Thorpe decided to transfer out of State College, Pat Chambers and his coaching staff have picked up a commitment from another guard to potentially take his place. Former UConn point guard Terrence Samuel visited Penn State today and committed today as well according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.

0 Penn State Adds Four-Star Defensive End Daniel Joseph to 2016 Recruiting Class

James Franklin and his staff have been on a hot streak with recruiting recently, and it doesn’t look like that trend will stop any time soon, as they just picked up a commitment from four-star defensive end Daniel Joseph, from Lake Forest, Illinois. Joseph is the class’ second defensive end recruit, along with Shane Simmons, one of the classes first, and most touted recruits.

0 D.J. Newbill To Play For Los Angeles Clippers In NBA Summer League

After the former Penn State star didn’t hear his name called in either of the two rounds of the NBA Draft on Thursday night, D.J. Newbill was left waiting for an NBA team to come calling for his services. Newbill worked out with a number of teams before the draft, including the Denver Nuggets, Charlotte Hornets, Philadelphia 76ers, and many others. One team in particular, the Los Angeles Clippers, was impressed enough to sign Newbill to their Summer League roster, giving the Nittany Lion great his first opportunity in the NBA.
